IWE exists so its members can grow in Christ, become lay-servant leaders, and embrace and change the world for the glory of God.  It is imperative for Christians to maintain healthy relationships with other believers who will strengthen and sharpen each other in the love of God.  As a healthy community of Christians, it is also imperative that those members share the love of God with those around them through outreach ministries, volunteer efforts, and church ministry.

Getting involved

We believe that God has called every one of us according to the gifts and abilities He has given each of us to impact and change the world.  It will take all of us working as a body to do this.  Everyone plays a vital role in the life of the church, and we value the gifts and talents you bring.  Whatever your talents or interests may be, there's a ministry that needs you.  These service areas range from working behind the scenes such as prayer warriors, multimedia and video teams, and sound controllers to up-front areas such as greeters and ushers, Sunday school and Bible study teachers, and small group leaders.  If you feel that God wants you to use your talents and skills, contact one of the staff members.  Being actively involved in God’s work is one way to take another step closer to God.

Do you want to get involved?  IWE is the perfect place for you.  We have growth groups, a traditional church choir, a praise team, an audio/visual team, greeters, various administrative needs, and many outreach ministries associated with the larger Young Nak Church such as children’s homes, health care for elderly and handicapped, and a women’s seminary.  But don’t think that you are limited to these choices.  We believe that God has given everybody a specific gift, and it would be a tragedy if somebody wasn’t able to serve just because they didn’t fit into the pre-established ministries.

If you have such a gift and would be interested in initiating a new ministry at IWE, simply bring your idea to Pastor Bill or email him at pb@myiwe.com.  God wants to work through you, and we want to facilitate that desire.
